Academic Qualification:
I. Assistant Professor in Rigveda (1):
Acharya / M.A., in the subject concerned with a minimum 55% marks from an Institution recognised by the UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India with Salakshana Ghanantha Adhyayana Knowledge of Siksha and Pratisakhya Sakala Sakha.
II. Assistant Professor in Atharvaveda (1):
Acharya / M.A., in the subject concerned with a minimum 55% marks from an institution recognised by the UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India with Salakshana Padantha Adhyayana of Atharvaveda with Gopathabrahmana and Upanishads. 2 / 3
Acharya / M.A., in the subject concerned with a minimum 55% marks from an Institution recognised by the UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India with Salakshana Ghanantha Adhyayana Knowledge of Siksha and Pratisakhya Sakala Sakha.
II. Assistant Professor in Atharvaveda (1):
Acharya / M.A., in the subject concerned with a minimum 55% marks from an institution recognised by the UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India with Salakshana Padantha Adhyayana of Atharvaveda with Gopathabrahmana and Upanishads. 2 / 3
III. Assistant Professor in Sukla Yajurveda (Paraskara) Pourohithya (1):
Acharya / M.A., in the subject concerned with a minimum 55% marks from an institution
recognised by the UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India with complete Adhyayana of
Sukla Yajurveda Pourohitya (Paraskara) and Paraskara Grihya- Dharma Sutras with
Bhashya with sufficient knowledge in Sanskrit
IV. Assistant Professor in Kalpa (1):
Acharya / M.A., in the subject concerned with a minimum 55% marks from an institution
recognised by the UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India with perfect knowledge of
Aswalayana/ Apastamba/ Vaikhanasa Kalpa sutras with commentaries through
“Adhyayana” system. Proficiency in practical Srauta rituals with sufficient knowledge in
Sanskrit.
V. Assistant Professor in Prathisakhya (1):
Acharya / M.A., in the subject concerned with a minimum 55% marks from an institution
recognised by the UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India with Mastery over Siksha
and Pratisakhya through Adhyayana system with Swavedasakha.
VI. Assistant Professor in Jyothisha (1):
Acharya / M.A., in Jyotisha with 55% marks from an institution recognised by the
UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India with special knowledge in Vedanga Jyotisha.
VII. Assistant Professor in Purva Mimamsa (1):
Acharya / M.A., in Purvamimamsa with 55% marks from an institution recognised by the
UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India
VIII. Assistant Professor in Vyakarana (1):
Acharya/M.A., in Vyakarana with 55% marks from an institution recognised by the
UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India with sound knowledge in Vaidika Vyakarana.
a) Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, or similar
test accreedited to the UGC like SLET/ SET
b) Holders of Ph.D. Degree shall be exempted from NET/ SLET/ SET
c) NET/SLET/SET shall not be required to such Master programmes in disciplines for which
NET/SLET/SET is not conducted. But relaxation can be made only by the University
Grants Commission in a particular subject in which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted on
the application made by the affected Universities for the specified subjects and for a
specified period based on sound justification.

Salakshana Padantha Adhyayana of Atharvaveda with Gopathabrahmana and
Upanishads from a reputed institution
Procedure of Selection: Selection will be based on written test and Personal Interview.
