WII Recruitment 2016: Wildlife Institute of India (WII) invites applications for the posts of  Wildlife Biologist,Conservation Geneticist,Conservation Ecologist,GIS Specialist,Senior Biologist on contractual basis initially for a period of one year.The last date for submission of applications is 22nd February 2016.

Academic Qualification:

Wildlife Biologist: Ph.D. in Wildlife Science/Life Science/Zoology/ Forestry. 
Experience- 02 (two) years experience in the field of wildlife conservation/research after Ph.D.

Conservation Geneticist: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Bio-technology/ Bio Sciences/ Wildlife Science/ Life Science/Zoology/ Veterinary Sciences with Specialization in Genetics. 

Experience:Candidates have Masters Degree should have a minimum of 03(three) years research experience after Masters degree or candidates having Ph.D degree should have experience of 1 (one) year in the field of genetics after Ph.D.

Conservation Ecologist: Master’s or Ph.D.Degree in Wildlife Science/ Life Science/Zoology/Veterinary Sciences. Experience:  Candidates with Masters Degree should have a minimum of 03(three) years research experience after Masters degree and candidates having Ph.D degree should have experience of one year in the field of wildlife research after Ph.D.

GIS Specialist:Masters Degree in Geo information/ Life Science/ Environmental Science /M.Tech. in Environmental Engineering /Remote Sensing & GIS. 

Experience: A minimum of 1 (one) year experience of working on projects related to GIS and Remote Sensing after Masters degree.

Senior Biologist:- M.Sc. in Wildlife Science / Life Science/Zoology/ Botany/ Veterinary Science.

Experience: A minimum of 1 (One) year experience of working on a research project after M.Sc. degree.

Pay Scale: 

 Wildlife Biologist-Rs. 55,000/- per month.

Conservation Geneticist-Rs. 47,000/- per month.

Conservation Ecologist-Rs. 47,000/- per month

GIS Specialist-Rs. 27,500/- per month.

Senior Biologist-Rs. 34,500/- per month.

Age Limit: as on 22-02-2016

Wildlife Biologist-Not exceeding 45 years

Conservation Geneticist-Not exceeding 40 years

Conservation Ecologist-Not exceeding 40 years

GIS Specialist-Not exceeding 40 years

Senior Biologist-Not exceeding 40 years

Procedure of Selection: Selection will be based on written test and Personal Interview.
